LGBTQ+ & BIPOC Wedding Videography

Buchholz Film & Co. celebrates all love, regardless of religion, gender, race, or sexual orientation. We believe in diversity and inclusivity and are committed to creating a space that is free of judgment and bias. We do not tolerate racism, hate, or violence toward any person, couple, culture, or community. Believing in the power of love, we are committed to representing all couples and celebrations from all corners of the world, including LGBTQ+ and BIPOC couples.

It is our promise to ensure that everyone in our community has a voice and is represented. We are dedicated to celebrating all love, always.

As wedding videographers, this is why our number one value is to prioritize your safety by valuing and respecting your lived experience. Your lived experience matters to us, and we will strive to treat you in a way that values and respects you. Here are a few examples of how we do this:

Vaccinated Vendor

We are fully vaccinated and boosted against Covid-19. We 100% believe vaccines are safe and effective and we support vaccination to protect ourselves, as well as others—especially underrepresented communities. Bramble & Blossom, a florist in Pennsylvania, created this badge.

Unity Through Community

This signifies our commitment to making the wedding industry more diverse and inclusive. It is a commitment to actively work to rid the wedding industry of racism, prejudice, and bias. A group of wedding vendors created this badge in Summer 2020.

Focusing on long-term accountability within the wedding industry, we assess what we have done and what we will continue to do to make our work more inclusive to members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

We took the pledge!

Our pledge recognizes our ongoing work to dismantle our internal racism and inherent bias and by doing so, help change the wedding industry. Jordan Maney, a wedding planner turned business coach, created this badge.

For us, this badge and our Unity Through Community badge especially hold value as we believe Black Lives Matter.

Altared

We participate monthly through hosted diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) training for wedding vendors. This space is for wedding vendors wanting to change the wedding industry. Additionally, they provide support to find a community and feel less alone.

We recognize that our work is not done. These badges are simply representations of our ongoing journey to fight injustices in the wedding industry. As individuals and a team, we are a work-in-progress and always remain open to feedback. We are proud to represent LGBTQ+ and BIPOC couples and you will always find a safe and welcoming place here. If you are looking for a wedding videographer that will serve and celebrate you, we would love to connect with you!
