Reasons to Have a Spring, Garden-Style Wedding

Spring is a beautiful season of the year! Winter is over (although for us in South Georgia, can we really call it winter?), everything is green, and it’s like the Earth is awake again. The weather is perfect for gathering outside, making Loblolly Rise’s outdoor space and open-air barn beautiful settings for a wedding ceremony and reception. Nature as a backdrop is a clean slate to work with too!

With it being springtime, the butterflies and dragonflies were EVERYWHERE! It made an already gorgeous day, magical. If you want to see a bit of that magic, check minute mark 2:07…the butterfly was totally a paid actor. Combined with the ethereal florals from Moonstruck Florals, the day was whimsical and playful. Moonstruck Florals made a gorgeous arch with greenery, blush and white roses, white ranunculuses, and other spring flowers. Their grounded floral arrangements added to the playfulness with the white stems of snapdragon poking up above and blowing in the breeze. Even Olivia’s bouquet bounced and danced! The white ranunculus with its long stems seemed to float above and around her bouquet.

The florals and season were perfect for this whimsical, garden-style wedding. Totally giving Bridgerton vibes, right?!
